Fred Dillow was a late model driver who raced at dirt tracks in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania until 1989. In 1990, he lost a two-year bout with Leukemia and in 1995 the 1st Annual Fred Dillow Memorial race was held in his memory. Fred was well-liked and respected by race fans and drivers and the idea of having a race in his memory was initiated by Delmas Conley and Gary Cheek.

Darren enjoyed his life to the fullest, and life was always an adventure for him. He loved driving his #88 dirt track bomber car at Portsmouth Raceway Park as well as other area tracks. He was a true businessman who loved to work at the business of selling trucks and cattle. Darren had a huge heart and was very generous with others and he would gladly help any person who was in need. He was deeply involved in 4-H, where he participated in the livestock auctions. He also sponsored area ball teams and many other community events.

He was one of the last drivers of the Old Huntington Motor Speedway. The Harshbarger name has been very pominent throughout the tri-state region for the last 50 years in dirt track racing. His two sons (Al and Wilford Harshbarger) and two great-grandsons (Brandon Holley and Joshua Tickett) are still following "Pappy's" racing footsteps. He won his last race with Jesus (the great flagman of all time) on November 9, 2009.

PAUL DAVID FITZPATRICK, 72, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The world has lost a great man, a simple man filled with pride and honesty. Dave was best known to be a hard-working, tell-it-like-it-is kind of man who immediately gained the respect of anyone in his presence. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to handle any situation. He was always proud of his family name, Fitzpatrick, and because of him, that pride will forever live on and be cherished. Dave was a carpenter by trade, but dirt track racing was his passion.

Vadis Edmond 'Fadeaway' Anderson #33 * Lucasville, Ohio.

Condolences to the family of William 'Rick' Bush. Rick passed away after a tragic accident. Rick was the driver of the #58 Bomber and was a lifelong racing enthusiast who pitted for the #58 of Evyian Terry the last four years. He was a good hearted man who always had a smile or a helping hand for anyone. He will be greatly missed around the Terry racing pits and to all those who knew him. Godspeed Ricky, you will be missed.

Condolences to the Todd Robinson family on the passing of Todd's father. Todd is the driver of the #39 Modified car.
